FM jumped out to a 42-17 lead after two quarters and would maintain the lead the rest of the game. Rylie Smith led the Raiders with 13 points and Amirah Greene had 11. Returner, All-Region player from last season, My'eesa Grant had a double double with 10 points and 12 rebounds.  Freshman, McKiea Weeks was relentless on the boards as she pulled down 16 total rebounds. FM outscored Delhi 42 to 31 in the second half to go on and win, 84-48.

Head Coach Kevin Jones was pleased with his team's performance.  "The team came out strong and I had an opportunity to rotate a lot of people into the game. We will need to work on the defensive end a bit harder, but all in all I am happy with the first performance of the season.  The freshman did well for their first game and the sophomores led the way.  I really like our mix of players."

FM will be at home this weekend as they host Tompkins Cortland CC on Saturday and Broome CC on Sunday.  Both games will start at 1:00 p.m.
