Lady Raiders Dominate in Win Against Clinton

The Lady Raiders basketball team opened up the 2017 half of their season against Clinton Community College.  FM had ten different players in the scoring column and went on to win 95-50.

FM held the Clinton offense to just 5 points in the first quarter and led 20-5.  The FM offense and defense continued to dominate in the 2nd quarter.  My'eesa Grant scored four straight points to start the quarter.  Amirah Greene sank back to back three pointers and followed with a layup to end the half leading 50-11.

Rylie Smith opened up the second half with five points of her own and extended the lead to 55-11.  Clinton was able to get their offense going and cut the FM lead to 65-29.  Julie Hampton closed out the 3rd quarter, 75-35.

The Lady Raiders continued their balanced attack in the 4th quarter and secured the win 95-50.  My'eesa Grant led all scorers with 21 points and 13 rebounds.  Amirah Greene followed with 16 points and Moet Jenkins with 15.

FM will travel to Hudson Valley CC on Saturday to take on the Vikings.  Game time is set for 1:00 p.m.
