The Lady Raiders opened their 2017 season on the road against the Tompkins Cortland Panthers on Saturday. FM fell in the contest 56-65. Diasia DeBoue led the Raiders with 26 points and 11 rebounds and Julie Hampton followed with 22 points for FM.
The Raiders fell behind early 7-15 in the first quarter, but bounced back in the 2nd quarter to outscore the Panthers 18-16 and trail 25-31 at the half. TC3 jumped out to a 53-41 lead after the 3rd quarter and FM came up short and suffered their first loss of the season.
FM will host their next game at home on Saturday, November 11th against Onondaga CC. Tip-off is set for 1:00 p.m.
