The women's basketball team hosted the Schenectady Royals on Tuesday night.  FM came out on top with a 60-45 victory.  FM's Julie Hampton led all scorers with 17 points.

The Lady Raiders jumped out to a 6-0 lead in the first quarter.  Shaun Smith sparked an 8-3 run to end the quarter leading 14-5.  Diasia DeBoue led the Raiders with 5 points to start the 2^nd quarter.  FM's defense held the Royals to just five points in the quarter and the Raiders led 32-12 at the half.

Shelby Dopp propelled the Raiders to a 52-28, 3^rd quarter lead with 8 points in the quarter.  The Royals cut the FM lead to 14 points with 4 minutes remaining in the game behind sharp shooting from Schenectady's Taylor Lupi.  The Raiders closed out the game with a 60-45 victory.

Diasia DeBoue finished with 15 points for FM and Shaun Smith followed with 10. 

FM's next contest will be Sunday, December 3^rd when they travel to take on the Broome Hornets.
