The women's basketball team was led by Diasia DeBoue who led the Raiders with 34 points, but it wasn't enough as FM fell to the North Country Saints; 72-62.
FM jumped out to a 25-9 1st quarter lead. The Saints started to make a run half way through the 2nd quarter as they went on an 11-0 run to cut the deficit 27-22. North Country cut it to as close as one point, but Julie Hampton closed out the half with a three pointer to lead the Saints 25-31.
The Raiders were held scoreless for the first six minutes of the 3rd quarter and the Saints scored eight straight to take the lead 45-50 to end the quarter. North Country continued their hot shooting down the stretch and led by seven points. Shelby Dopp converted at the line with a minute remaining to cut the FM deficit to five, but it wasn't enough as FM fell 72-62.
Julie Hampton finshed with 13 points and Shaun Smith had 9 points respectively.
The Lady Raiders will play their final game of the semester on the road Sunday, December 10th. They will face Finger Lakes Community College at 1:00 p.m.
