Women's Basketball Bows to Columbia-Greene

The women's basketball team fell to Columbia-Greene on Wednesday evening.  The Twins sank 18 three pointers to route the Lady Raiders 98-67. 

FM fell behind early in the first quarter as the Twins took the lead 28-13, including eight three pointers.  The Lady Raiders would not go away in the second quarter, and cut the lead to 24-32 behind solid shooting from Julie Hampton.  Columbia-Greene closed out the half leading 39-24.

The Twins took control of the game in the second half and FM could not recover.  The Lady Raiders saw three players score in double figures.  Julie Hampton led with 21, Diasia DeBoue had 19 and McKiea Weekes finished with 16. 

FM moves to 3-7 on the season and looks to bounce back at home this weekend against Corning and Adirondack.
