The Lady Raiders were victorious against Cayuga on Saturday afternoon. Julie Hampton led the Raiders to a 71-52 win, with 27 points and 10 rebounds.
FM jumped out to a 33-29 halftime lead and Diasia DeBoue sparked the offense in the third quarter to extend the lead 52-40. In the final quarter FM outscored Cayuga 17-7 to secure the victory.
DeBoue finished with 18 points and 5 assists. McKiea Weeks grabbed 24 rebounds to go along with 11 points.
Head Coach Kevin Jones was recognized for his 400th win with a plaque presented by Jane Kelley, Vice President for Student Affairs.
FM's next contest will be on the road on Monday, February 5th against Clinton.
