The Lady Raiders bounced back from their loss against Mohawk Valley and defeated the Herkimer Generals 102-40 on Monday night. FM has now won the last six of their seven games and move to 9-9 on the season.
FM jumped out to a 20-7 1st quarter lead. Julie Hampton drained back to back threes to extend the lead 27-8. Herkimer's Maria Lamonto stopped the FM run with a three pointer to close the gap 27-11. The Lady Raiders held Herkimer scoreless for the rest of the quarter and entered halftime leading 44-11.
FM outscored the Generals 26-16 in the third quarter and continued their hot shooting in the 4th. FM finished the game shooting 50% from the field.
Julie Hampton led all scorers with 38 points. Diasia DeBoue recorded a triple double with 25 points, 11 assists and 13 rebounds. McKiea Weekes finished with 23 points and 18 rebounds.
FM looks to finish out their regular season strong, with five games remaining. Their next contest will be on the road on Thursday, February 15th at North Country.
