The women's basketball team fell 75-55 on the road against the sharp shooting Hudson Valley Vikings on Wednesday evening. 

FM fell behind early in the first quarter as the Vikings scored 13 straight points, to take an early 13-2 lead.  Diasia DeBoue stopped the run for FM, but the Lady Raiders trailed 11-24 at the end of the quarter.  Julie Hampton and McKiea Weekes lifted FM in the 2nd quarter as they cut the deficit 28-38 at the half.

FM started the third quarter on a 6-0 run and trailed by just 4 points.  The Vikings were able to pull away in the final two minutes of the quarter and led 43-56.  In the final quarter, FM got into some foul trouble and Hudson Valley took advantage for a 75-55 victory.

Hampton led with 24 points and 9 rebounds, Deboue had 16 points and Weekes finished with 13 points and 17 rebounds.  Hudson Valley's Hannah Kreiger led the Vikings with 27 points, including six three pointers.  

The Lady Raiders move to 12-10 on the season and have one regular season game remaining.  FM will travel to Columbia-Greene on Saturday to take on the #1 seeded Twins.  Game time is set for 1:00 p.m.
