Lady Raiders Fall in Region 3 Quarterfinal

The Women's Basketball team's post season run came to an end as they suffered a season ending loss against Finger Lakes Community College in the Region III Quarterfinal.  The Lady Raiders battled adversity and foul trouble all game long, but came up short 86-61.

Finger Lakes got out to a 27-20 1st quarter lead and never looked back.  Diasia DeBoue was able to cut the deficit to 24-27 in the 2nd quarter, but the Lakers finished the half with a 49-32 lead. 

In the 2nd half Finger Lakes outscored FM in both quarters.  The Lady Raiders could not get much going on the offensive end.  The Lakers managed the clock down the stretch and pulled out the win.

DeBoue led the Raiders with 21 points and Julie Hampton followed with 16.  McKiea Weeks grabbed 16 reounds and scored 10 points to round out the Lady Raiders.   FM finishes its 2017-18 campaign with a 13-11 overall record.
