The women's basketball team continued their dominance with a 65-45 win over Finger Lakes on Sunday afternoon. FM got off to a slow start in the first quarter as they trailed 13-15. In the second quarter, Niasia Phillips tied the score at 15. The Lady Raiders settled in and took a 26-17 lead heading into half time.
FM opened up the third quarter on a 12-2 run to extend the lead 36-19. Gabby Brown drilled a three from the top of the arc to close out the quarter leading 52-28. The Lady Raiders were able to keep the game out of reach and secure the 65-45 victory.
Niasia Phillips led FM with 16 points and Niaimani Marshall finished with 14 points and 10 rebounds. McKiea Weekes and DiAsia DeBoue added 11 apiece.
The Lady Raiders improve to 7-2 on the season and now head into the mid-semester break. They are currently third in the Region 3 standings, behind Onondaga and North Country.
