FMCC is excited to announce the addition of local standout Kendra Lavery to the women's basketball program for the 2019-20 season.  Lavery is a senior at Gloversville High School and signed her letter of intent on Monday in front of family and friends. She will play a major role on the Lady Raiders squad in the fall.

The senior standout is a 5'9" forward and will have an immediate impact for the Lady Raiders.  She averaged 17.1 points per game in her senior season.  Kendra was named a 1st team Foothills Council All-Star and named to The Amsterdam Recorder/Fulton County Express All-Area team.

Lavery scored in double figures in all but one game this season for the Gloversville Dragons.  She had a standout performance in the first round of the Class A playoffs scoring 31 points in a victory over Mohonasen.

Head Coach Kevin Jones is looking forward to the upcoming season and the addition of Lavery.  "Kendra will be an impact player for our program.  She has blossomed into a great inside/out player in the past few years.  It is always great getting an all-area player that has played on some great teams at Gloversville High school.  We are really happy about her commitment to the Lady Raiders program," said Jones.
