The North Country Saints who are ranked #2 in the NJCAA D3 Poll bested the Lady Raiders on Wednesday evening; 90-57.
Niamani Marshall paced FMCC in the 1st quarter with 9 points and the Lady Raiders hung with the Saints. At the end of ten minutes FM led 17-15. North Country closed out the 2nd quarter on a 12-5 run to gain a 38-29 advantage.
It was all Saints in the 3rd quarter as they outscored FM 30-11 and took a 68-40 commanding lead. North Country put the game out of reach in the final quarter.
Marshall led FM with 22 points, Djenaba Ndiaye followed with 13 and Hasijna Gaddy with 11.
Kayla Carder scored 32 for the Saints and Dontasia Simpson had 18.
The Lady Raiders will travel to Finger Lakes on Sunday for a 1:00pm contest.
