After two tough road losses to Onondaga and Herkimer, the FMCC Women's Basketball team got back on track on Wednesday night. They hosted North Country Community College in the Raiders Den. FM used a balanced attack and a 19 point lead to get past the Saints, 78-66.

The Raiders shot 50% from the field in the first half to jump out to a 38-27 half time lead. In the second half, both teams got into foul trouble. The Saints took advantage and chipped away to narrow the margin to 8 points. The FMCC bench stepped up and secured the win down the stretch.

Kiarra Kennedy was nearly unstoppable on the offensive end. She scored 26 points and grabbed 12 rebounds. Harmony Philo recorded a double-double with 18 points and 10 rebounds. Sarah Emanuel-Norwood tallied 10 points on 62% from the field.

The Lady Raiders head into their final week of the regular season as they look to make a push towards the Region 3 tournament. FM will travel to Hudson Valley on Thursday for a 5:00 p.m. tip.
