Women's Basketball Returns to Action With Win Over SUNY Adirondack

After a month long mid-semester break, the FMCC Women's Basketball Team began their second half of the season. The Lady Raiders did not miss a beat, as they dominated in a 92-34 road win over SUNY Adirondack.

They jumped out to a 27-3 1st quarter lead and finished the half leading, 51-13. In the second half, the Timberwolves had a run in the 3rd quarter, but it was not enough as the Lady Raiders secured the 92-34 victory. 

Abigail Lombardoni led with 24 points. Makenzie Smith had a big night finishing with 23 points, 11 rebounds and shot 77% from the field. Alimah Goodwin collected a double-double with 16 points and 16 boards. Sarah Emanuel-Norwood rounded out double-figure scoring with 15 points and 6 assists. 

The Lady Raiders will head back to the road on Sunday, January 15th when they travel to take on Finger Lakes Community College.
