Kiya Marquez has notched yet another award to her remarkable basketball career at FMCC. This time, at the national level. Marquez has been selected as a 2022-23 First Team NJCAA Division III Women's Basketball All-American.

Kiya led the 2022-23 basketball squad to a prolific season. She joins four other athletes across the nation as a first team All-American recipient. The Lady Raiders finished 6^th at the NJCAA Championship Tournament. The squad also finished the season as Mountain Valley Conference Champions, Region 3 Champions and an impressive 22-2 overall record.

NJCAA DIII All-America Teams

Marquez finished the season with 18.8 points per game, 4.7 assists per game, and 8 rebounds per game. On top of the first team All-American, Kiya earned 2022 1^st team Mountain Valley All-Conference, 1^st team All-Region, and Region 3 Tournament MVP.
