Women's Bowling Wraps Up Regular Season

The women's bowling team completed in their final regular season conference match on Friday at King Pin Lanes in South Glens Falls. The Lady Raiders went 4-4 on the day.  They finish the regular season with an overall record of 11 wins and 13 losses and finished 3rd in the conference.

The women were led by Freshman Shea Weaver of Gloversville, who posted a high series of 581 and a high single of 210. Co-Captain Makayla Williams of Esperence had a series of 560 with a high game of 200.

Other high singles belonged to Shayla Staves 184, Ally Colp 178, Kendra Sweet 165, and Angelique Lafreniere with a 158.

In the second match, standout Freshmen Makayla Williams and Ally Colp paced the Raiders with high series of 594 and 563 respectively.  Co-Captain Kendra Sweet rolled a series of 511 and a high game of 203.  Other high scores were Angelique Lafreniere with a 183, and Shea Weaver at 156.


The Raiders now begin the post season portion of their schedule.  FM travels to Utica next Sunday for the Regional Tournament event to be held at Pin-O-Rama. Two weeks after Regionals, the Raiders will travel to Buffalo to participate in the NJCAA Nationals to be held March 2nd and 3rd.
