Delhi, NY – Wednesday was a beautiful day in the western Catskills. It was a perfect day to play The Beautiful Game, but FM players and fans found the outcome disappointing. The Lady Broncos of SUNY Delhi shut out the Lady Raiders 4-0.
The Raiders held the Broncos scoreless for the first 20-plus minutes. FM even looked as if they might take a 1-0 lead when Hanna Cromie created a good scoring opportunity after six minutes of play. (See photo below.) However, the Delhi Eleven proved to be too strong for the Raiders, and FM tasted defeat.

FM's next outing will be on Saturday, at Watertown versus SUNY Jefferson. The Lady Cannoneers are 1-5 on the season, and the Lady Raiders are 0-4.
