JOHNSTOWN – The visiting Lady Broncos of SUNY Delhi proved too strong for the Lady Raiders on Wednesday afternoon. The visitors won the game 9-0.

Delhi scored their first goal when the game was 12 minutes old. They found the back of the net four more times in the first half. Jenn Jelic scored the first two of those goals for the Broncos. She was assisted on both by teammate Katelyn Englebrecht.

Delhi was able to substitute freely, but FM was playing without substitutes. FM goalie Heather Staelens and her defenders had to face several Delhi attacks.

The second half was scoreless for 20 minutes, but then Delhi scored again on a nice crossing play.

The FM fullbacks were busy. Hanna Cromie, Cori Manson, and Brittany Keator cut off most of Delhi's attacks before the Broncos could get off good shots.

The Lady Raiders will be back in action on Saturday when they host Jefferson CC. The kickoff is scheduled for 1:00 p.m.
