Head Coach Rachael Salvione's squad took charge early in the going.  Freshman Whitney Ostrander's kill won the first point of the night, and the Raiders never trailed in the opening set. FM led 3-2, and then went on a scoring run. Co-Captain Sarah Wyzomirski's placement shot made the score 5-2. Soon, FM led 9-3. An attack by Shelbey Lyons made it 13-5. Lyons served later in the set, and the team won four straight points under her service. 24-10 Raiders. The final score was 25-11.

Co-Captain Emily Robinson began serving with the score 3-1 in the second set. Robinson's service was excellent. She continued to serve until the score was Raiders 13-Vikings 2. The set was the Raiders' most dominant of the match, with FM winning 25-9.

The FM Six were playing with superior consistency and skill. Their passing was sharp. They kept the ball in play, making fewer unforced errors than their hosts.

The set scores were 25-11, 25-9, and 25-18.

Coach Salvione reflected on the match, stating, "The girls played very consistently tonight. We passed the ball well, enabling us to run our offense. We're happy with this win."
