Coaches Poll

The poll still shows Monroe CC in the top spot. The Lady Tribunes have a season record of 32-1. SUNY Adirondack (23-2) is the #2 team. FM owns the #3 position and has a season record of 18-3. The next two teams are the Lady Jayhawks of Jamestown CC (18-7) and the Lady Thunder Wolves of Niagara CCC (16-7).

Seedings List

The Region 3 listings also show the results of the matches that are considered for the regional tournament seedings. The five teams that have the top five spots in the rankings are also the top five in the seedings list, but their rank-order is different and their records are very closely grouped. The current seedings list:

Monroe 17-0

FMCC   15-2

Jamestown   15-2

Adirondack    14-2

Niagara   13-4

The sixth school in the seedings list is Jefferson, at 11-6.

Raiders Schedule

The Lady Raiders will finish their regular-season play on Wednesday evening when they host SUNY Delhi at 7:00 p.m. The Lady Broncos are 16-15 overall.  It will be the Raider fans' last chance to see FM on their home hardwood.

The Mountain Valley Conference (MVC) Tournament will be held on Saturday, October 25, at SUNY Adirondack. Last season, Head Coach Rachael Salvione's team finished third in the seven-team MVC tourney, and then-freshman Whitney Ostrander was named to the all-tournament team. This year's squad is intent on earning an even better result.

The top eight teams in the region will then compete in the Region 3 championship tournament. That tourney will be held on Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 1 and 2, at Niagara CCC. FM will be among the top eight. The team is striving to earn the best possible seed.
