The Lady Raiders traveled to Jefferson Community College to play in the Jefferson Invitational. All pool play games were best 2 out of 3, and FM went undefeated with the following scores.
Match One vs. Herkimer: 25-16, 26-24
Match Two vs. Cayuga: 25-18, 26-24
Match Three vs. Onondaga: 25-12, 26-24
FM advanced to the semifinals as the #1 team and faced off with Jefferson Community College. The Raiders won by a score of 27-25, 25-20. The Raiders then advanced to the finals and faced off with Corning Community College. The match went three games with the Raiders coming out with the finals victory with scores of 17-25, 25-21, 15-10.
FM looks to continue the momentum when they travel to play Adirondack Community College on Wednesday, September 9th at 7 p.m.
