Jenna Putnam and Coach Salvione named 2015 Mountain Valley Conference Player and Coach of the Year!

The Mountain Valley Conference volleyball team was announced on Thursday afternoon.  Freshman setter/outside hitter Jenna Putnam was tabbed Player of The Year and FM's Head Coach Rachael Salvione was named Coach of the Year.  Middle hitter Carly Howe was also named to the 1st team all conference team. 

Jenna has made a big impact for the Raiders Volleyball squad this season.  She has 211 kills, 195 digs, and 314 assists overall and led the MVC with her well rounded play.  Jenna's teammates look to her to make crucial plays when needed.

Carly Howe how plays the middle hitter on the Raiders squad.  She plays her position very well with 198 kills, a .366 hitting percentage and 77 aces which is 2nd overall in region 3 volleyball.  

Coach Rachael Salvione led her squad to an undefeated season at 10-0 in the Mountain Valley Conference and a 21-6 record overall.  Her dedication to the program and outstanding season has earned her 2015 Mountain Valley Conference Coach of the Year.

Coach Salvione and her squad travel to Niagara Community College today to compete for a Region III Title.  The first round of POD play begins tomorrow with FM facing Genesee, Jefferson, and Onondaga.
