Lady Raiders Improve to 11-2 on the Season

FMCC traveled to Herkimer for pod play on Saturday and competed against Broome, Corning, and Tompkins Cortland. The Lady Raiders went 3-1 on the day.

Match One:

FM defeated Broome in 5 games by scores of 25-19, 22-25, 25-23, 23-25, and 15-7.

Miranda Eagan had 5 kills, 5 blocks, and 20 digs

Carly Howe posted 8 kills and 6 blocks.

Jenna Putnam posted 16 kills and 19 digs.

Emily Orminski posted 6 kills, 33 assists, 22 digs, and 3 service aces.

Brittany Orminski posted 7 kills, 2 blocks, 21 digs, and 3 aces.

Jordyn Hale posted 13 digs.

Kaylee Robinson posted 7 kills and 10 digs.

Match Two:

Corning defeated FM in 3 games with scores of 21-25, 22-25, 18-25.

Miranda posted 6 kills, 5 blocks, and 13 digs.

Carly posted 7 kills and 3 blocks.

Jenna posted 9 kills, 1 block, 2 aces and 6 digs.

Emily posted 3 kills,18 assists, 1 block and 4 digs.

Brittany posted 4 kills, 4 digs, and 15 digs.

Jordyn posted 7 digs.

Kaylee posted 4 kills and 10 digs.

Match Three:

FM went on to defeat Tompkins Cortland in 3 games with scores of 25-12, 25-18, and 25-15.

Miranda had 6 kills 2 blocks, 2 aces and 9 digs.

Carly had 7 kills, 2 blocks, 8 aces, and 5 digs.

Jenna had 7 kills, 12 assists, and 5 digs.

Emily had 7 kills, 18 assists, 2 blocks, 2 aces, and 5 digs

Brittany had 3 kills and 8 digs.

Jordyn posted 8 digs.

Kaylee posted 3 kills and 3 digs.

FM is now 11-2 on the season and travel to North Country Community College on Wednesday, September 23.
