FM dominated yet another match in the Mohawk Valley Conference, this time against The Mohawk Valley Hawks. The Raiders won 3-0 by scores of 25-17, 25-14, & 25-12.

In the first set, the score was tied at 4-4, but FM reeled off five straight points to go up 9-5. The Lady Raiders never lost the lead for the rest of the set and came out on top 25-17.
The second set saw the same dominant FM Volleyball Team. Carly Howe had one of her ten kills of the night after a Mohawk Valley Timeout to extend the Raider lead to 15-6. FM ended the set by scoring three straight points and winning 25-14.
The Raiders cruised in the third and final set. FM scored seven straight times before the Hawks scored a point. Brittany Orminski made a brilliant diving hit that she was able to send back over the net to a Mohawk team that thought the play was over. That play set the score at 8-1. From there FM's Jenna Putnam scored two aces to go up 16-5. The Raiders ended the match with a Miranda Eagan block and a 25-12 win.
The Lady Raiders willl be off until Wednesday, October 14th when they host The Generals from Herkimer at 6:00 p.m. FM will also be honoring seniors Kaylee Robinson and Miranda Eagan.
