The Lady Raiders hosted their first home match of the season and handled it with ease. FM downed Adirondack 3-0, with scores of 25-17, 25,21 and 25-20.

In the first set, the Timberwolves jumped out to an early lead, but it wasn't long before Megan Ryder was able to score back to back points to put FM up 4-2. Adirondack tied the score at twelve, but FM reeled off three straight points to take the lead for good and win 25-27.
In the second set Jenna Putnam took control for the Lady Raiders. She scored an ace to put her team up 10-3 and had a kill of her own to maintain the lead, 19-8. Adirondack battled back to close the gap, but FM hung on to win 25-21. In the final set, the Raiders jumped out ahead behind the play of Miranda Nethaway. Adirondack was able to score four straight points to cut the FM lead to 24-20, but Bri Eagan ended the night with a 25-20 FM win.
FM will host their POD tournament on Saturday, September 10th in the Raiders Den.
