Volleyball Looks For Continued Success in 2017 Season

Head Coach Rachael Salvione and her volleyball squad look to continue their success in the 2017 season.  In 2016, the Lady Raiders had an unbelievable season going 20-2, winning the Mountain Valley Conference and placing second at the Region III Tournament.  This season, the Raiders look to build a brand new team after losing four key starters from last year's squad.  Currently, the Lady Raiders are ranked 8th in the NJCAA Division III Pre-season poll.

Returning players; Bri Eagan, Megan Ryder and Gabrielle Smith will all play a major role this season.  Coach Salvione adds five new freshmen to her roster in Julie Hampton, Raina Danylak, Brianna Port, Aspen Darling, and Kendell Sweeney

The team has spent the last three weeks preparing for the start of the season.  "We have been working a lot on communication and building trust in each other.  We have a lot of new players and we are looking to the returners to lead the way," said Salvione.
