Lady Raiders Fall on the Road

The Lady Raiders Volleyball squad fell to the Adirondack Timberwolves on Wednesday night.  FM dropped the match 3-0; 25-14, 29-27, and 25-15.

Adirondack dominated the first set as the Raiders settled into the match.  In the second set, FM took a six point lead, but the Timberwolves battled back to tie it at 24.  Both teams battled point for point, but Adirondack eventually came out with the win 29-27.  In the final set, FM could not find their groove and fell to the home team 25-15.

Camryn Leggett led the Raiders with 10 kills, 10 blocks and 4 digs on the evening.  Brianna Port and Tesa Brody finished with 6 and 5 kills each.  Ashlee Kelly led with 25 assists in the contest. 

FM will travel to Broome Community College on Saturday, September 15th to take part in POD play.  The Raiders will play Tompkins Cortland, Broome and Corning.
