Volleyball Falls In POD Play

The women's volleyball team traveled to Finger Lakes on Saturday for Region 3 POD play.  FM faced tough competition from out west in Monroe, Genesee and Finger Lakes. 

The Lady Raiders fell to Finger Lakes 3-0 in the first match; 25-15, 25-13, 25-13.  Tesa Brody led with six kills and nine digs.  Michelle Ferraino finished with 10 assists and Destiny Prather recorded three blocks.

Against, Monroe FM fell 3-0; 25-19, 25-18 and 25-23.  Camryn Leggett led with 9 kills and Brianna Port finished with 8 kills.  Brody tacked on 16 digs for the Raiders and Ferraino led with 18 assists. 

In the final match of the day, FM dropped the contest 3-0 to Genesee.  FM fell 25-15, 25-15, and 25-14. 

The Lady Raiders will head into Mountain Valley Conference play in the coming week.  On Wednesday, October 3rd FM will travel to Hudson Valley to take on the Vikings at 6:00 p.m.
