Lady Raiders Lose to Mohawk Valley

The women's volleyball team hosted their first home match of the season on Wednesday evening.  The Raiders fell to Mohawk Valley 3-1.

The Hawks took the first set 25-17.  In the second set, FM jumped out to an 11-3 lead and never lost the momentum.  They went on to win the second set, 25-16.

In the third set, Camryn Leggett and Destiny Prather scored a block to cut the MV lead 21-16.  The Hawks found the upper hand late in the match to secure a 25-18 win.

In the fourth and final set, FM got behind early and couldn't recover.  Mohawk Valley secured the match victory in four sets.

Tesa Brody led the Raiders with six kills, Michelle Ferraino had 11 assists and Destiny Prather finished with three blocks. Camryn Leggett had four digs.

The Lady Raiders will continue their home stand when they host North Country Community College on Friday at 7:00 p.m.  FM will finish out their 2018 season on Saturday when they host POD play beginning at 9am in the Raiders Den.
