In the second set, FM came out strong taking a 4-1 lead.  The Timberwolves adjusted to a quicker offense and took a 13-11 lead. Danika Dygon cut the score to 22-20, but Adirondack scored the final three points for the win.

In the final set, the Lady Raiders struggled to find any momentum as the visiting team jumped out to a 14-4 lead. FM would make a small comeback, but it wasn't enough.

"Last night's match showed us that we have the ability to be competitive and play right alongside any team in the conference and it also showed how susceptible any team can be to lapses when we don't keep our errors to a minimum. Overall we were pleased with how the first two sets went and as a team we have identified some key areas that we need to focus on," said Coach Olyer.

Olivia Casey had a strong defensive night with 12 digs and 7 kills.  Macenzie Ward led with 11 kills and 9 digs.  Emily Mormando finished with 19 assists.

FMCC will head to Mohawk Valley on Sunday, September 29th for POD action.  They will play Onondaga, Cayuga and Jefferson.
