After taking the first set of the match, 25-9, FMCC controlled the tempo. The Raiders took the second set, 25-12, and then battled for a 25-14 victory in the final set.

"Overall, we were extremely happy with how the team played. The ladies came ready to play, remained focused on our goals, came out with a lot of intensity and energy and were able to keep the momentum on our side of the court so we could control the game. They were able to minimize their errors from the first two scrimmages. It was a great season opener and we have the rest of the season to build on it," said Coach Olyer.

The Lady Raiders are back on the court on Sunday, September 12th. They will host Herkimer College at 1:00 p.m. in the Raiders Den
