The women's volleyball team remained undefeated over the weekend with wins against Finger Lakes and Monroe.
The Lady Raiders defeated the #4 nationally ranked Lakers in 5 sets; 26-24, 25-23, 21-25, 24-26 and 15-15. Grace O'Brien had a big match at the net with 16 kills and Alaina Diffee followed with 10 kills. Amber Cole kept the offense in check with 33 assists. Defensively, FM collected 51 digs in the match.
In the second match of the day, FMCC dominated Monroe in straight sets; 25-15, 25-10, 25-15. Lindsey Zawisa collected 11 kills and 14 digs to lead the way.
The Lady Raiders will be back in action on Tuesday, September 12th when they travel to take on SUNY Adirondack. The match is set for 7:00 p.m.
