The women's volleyball team continued its dominance over the weekend at the Onondaga POD. The Lady Raiders competed against Jefferson and Onondaga Community College. FMCC defeated Jefferson, 3-1 and Onondaga 3-0.
In the first match, Jefferson got the best of FMCC in the first set; 25-16. The Lady Raiders bounced back in the next three sets with wins of 25-20, 25-22, and 25-19.
Grace O'Brien dominated with 20 kills and 11 digs. Lindsey Zawisa tallied 10 kills and 13 digs. Jayden DeVellis had 12 digs and Amber Cole finished with 40 assists and 11 digs.
In the second match of the day, FM dominated the Onondaga Lazers; 25-8, 25-15 and 25-20. Alaina Diffee led with 9 kills and Zawisa with 12 digs.
The Lady Raiders are back home on Tuesday, October 3rd for a 7:00 p.m. match against Mohawk Valley.
