The women's basketball opened up their 2020 season against Niagara Community College on Sunday. Niagara who is ranked #2 in the NJCAA Division II topped the Lady Raiders 88-70.
FMCC hung around with the Thunderwolves in the 1st quarter and trailed 24-20. Niagara pulled away from FM in the second quarter and led 43-28 at half.
Playing with just 7 players, FMCC ran out of gas and Niagara took advantage with an 88-70 victory.
Niaimani Marshall led all scorers with 31 points, 7 rebounds and 4 steals. Djenaba Ndiaye followed with 19 points.
FMCC will host Hudson Valley CC on Saturday, January 18th at 1:00 p.m.
