The FMCC Cross Country team hosted the 2022 Mountain Valley Conference Championship on Saturday, October 15th.
Seven runners from Hudson Valley, Herkimer and FM competed in the women's 5K. FM's Elisabeth Labreche finished with a time of 29.14 and Olivia Skylstad placed first from HVCC with a time of 21:36.
Hudson Valley, Herkimer, FM, Clinton and Mohawk Valley participated in the men's 8K. Paul Lomanto led the Raiders finishing 9th with a time of 32:18. Alex Cwiakala placed 11th at 32:41, Aiden Monroe at 35:16 and Josh Hughes with a 36:51 finish.
Javonie Barham and Xavier Jimenez finished 22nd and 23rd, while Evan Sawitzki rounded out FMCC in 28th place.
FMCC finished 3rd in team scoring behind Hudson Valley and Herkimer.
