Amadou Diakite is the Male Raider of the Month for December. Amadou is a sophomore guard on the men’s basketball team. Diakite has been the Raiders most solid and consistent player in the month of November. He has led his team to a solid 6-1 start on the season.
Amadou is averaging 16 points per game, which is second on the team. He has scored in double figures in every contest this season and leads the team with 20 three pointers. He made five three pointers against Schenectady. Amadou gets it done on the defensive end, he is at the top of the FM zone and leads with his toughness and voice.
“Amadou is also an excellent team leader, who has taken charge of the team from day one and has pushed his teammates to get the best out of them individually and as a group,” said Collar.
