The Female Raider of the Month for March is Kiya Marquez. Marquez is a sophomore guard on the Women’s Basketball team.
Kiya has been the driving force on the Women’s Basketball team and has led them to a 21-0 record and a Region 3 Title.
In the Region 3 Tournament, Kiya averaged 23 points per game. She had a huge Championship game against Onondaga where she scored 35 points, shooting 83% from the field. The Lady Raiders dominated the game with an 84-45 victory.
Marquez finished the tournament as MVP. She also was named 1st team All-Region and All-Conference. She looks to lead her squad in the NJCAA Championship tournament in Rochester, Minnesota on March 15th-18th.
