The Female Raider of the Month for February is Kiya Marquez. Marquez is a sophomore guard on the Women’s Basketball team.
Kiya has been a big factor in the success of the 13-0 Lady Raiders. Marquez is averaging 19.1 points (2nd in Region) 4.7 assists (8th in Region) and shooting 46.8% (2nd in Region) from the field this season. She is shooting 53% from the field and has tallied 16 steals and 5 blocks in the 3-0 start for FMCC.
Marquez tallied two double-doubles in wins over Jefferson and Tompkins Cortland. She looks to maintain her dominance on the court as the Lady Raiders look to finish the regular season undefeated.
