The Male Raider of the Year is Cai “Andy” Cheng En. Cai is a freshman pitcher and infielder on the men’s baseball team. He played a major role in the success of the baseball team as they returned to competition for the first time since 2019. The Raiders finished the season with an impressive 14-16 record.
Cai led his squad to a monumental season on the mound, in the field and at the plate. He led the Raiders with a .408 batting average and a team best 4.89 ERA. Cai was named to the Mountain Valley Conference first team and second team All-Region. He will be competing with the Amsterdam Mohawks this summer in the Perfect Game Collegiate Baseball League.
