The Female Raider of the Year is Grace O’Brien. O’Brien is a sophomore outside hitter on the women’s volleyball team.
Grace was the driving force on the volleyball team and led them to a 21-3 record this season. She amassed a career record of 48 wins and 5 losses over the past two seasons. Grace led the Lady Raiders to a Region 3 title in back-to-back seasons.
This season, Grace earned Mountain Valley Conference Player of the year, first team All-Conference and first team All-Region. She ended the season with 185 kills and 2.64 kills per set (5th in region). She finished with a .283 hitting percentage which was 2nd in the region.
