The Female Raider of the Month for October is Samara Hunt. Samara is a sophomore co-captain and libero on the Women’s Volleyball Team.
She has helped lead the Lady Raiders to a 5-4 start and leads the team with 165 digs. She is currently ranked 3rd in the region with 5.16 digs per set.
“Samara is co-captain and the heart of the defense as libero. She’s the kind of teammate you always want on your side — dependable, hard-working, and all in, all the time. She brings 100% effort every single day, whether it's practice or game time, and you can always count on her when it really matters. Samara’s got the ability to lift up the people around her — she pushes the team to be better, stay focused, and keep chasing our goals,” said Head Coach Tina Olyer.
