Nick Butler is the Male Raider of the Month for March. The Florida native is a sophomore on the Men’s Basketball Team.
Nick has played an integral role in the success of the men’s basketball team as they went on a 17-game winning streak. Butler is a lock down defender who shuts down opposing offensive weapons night in and night out. He is also averaging 6.4 points per game and 1.7 steals per game.
Nick played an integral role in the NJCAA National Tournament where he scored 8 points in the opening round game. In the win over Hostos in the tournament, Nick played injured and scored 7 points, grabbed 7 rebounds and dished out 7 assists. He has been a strong student-athlete for the Raiders over the past two seasons and will graduate in May.
