Makenzie Smith
The Female Raider of the Month for March is Makenzie Smith. Smith is a sophomore on the Women’s Basketball Team.
Makenzie is a force inside for The Lady Raiders, averaging 15.8 points per game and 3.5 blocks per game. She was a big contributor in the Region 3 post-season tournament being named to the All-Conference Team. Smith scored 17 points and grabbed 18 rebounds in a quarter-final win over Herkimer. She also led with 20 points and 6 blocks in a season ending loss to Jefferson in the semi-finals.
