FMCC baseball hosted the #10 Herkimer Generals on Sunday afternoon in a Mountain Valley Conference match-up.

In game two, the Raiders turned the page to stun the Generals. They defeated Herkimer in walk-off fashion, 4-3.

In the top of the 7th inning, Herkimer tied the game at three on a single by Shiryu Sato. In the bottom of the 8th inning, Soichiro Hanawa put the ball in play and a throwing error by the third baseman allowed Ryan Savoie to score the game winning run. Savoie went 2-for-4 at the plate and led the team with 2 RBI's.
Cheng En Cai was stellar on the bump for the Raiders. The right-hander surrendered seven hits and zero earned runs over 7 innings. KJ Constantino came in relief in the 8th and worked in and out of trouble. He gave up zero hits and struck out two.
