The 2021-22 FMCC Bowling Team held a fundraiser this past Saturday, March 19, at Arterial Lanes in Gloversville, to benefit the Raiders Relief Food Pantry on campus.
The Raiders bowling squad banded together to raise $845 for the project. The proceeds were turned over to the Food Pantry Director on campus, Ms. Robin Towne in a presentation held at the school on Monday, March 21st.
"I strongly believe in Community Service projects to benefit a worthy cause. Nobody that attends FM should have to go hungry. Robin does a lot of work for the pantry and we were happy to help out in our own small way. I did want to mention that our Assistant Coach Dave Hayward went above and beyond in his fundraising, collecting nearly half the funds raised. The others that collected funds were Assistant Coach Selena Barber, Team Captain Evan Sawitzki, Andrew Bauer, Justin Hulbert, Korey Davis, and myself," stated Coach Tom Rathbun.
