The FM Soccer team traveled to Corning Community College to take on the Red Barons in a Region 3 matchup. The Raiders were able to come out on top. FM's Mike Mazzarella scored the lone goal in the first half of the game for a 1-0 win.

The Raiders are down to just 13 players due to injury and they were able to pull out the win.  The Raiders played solid defense the entire game after the 1st half goal by Mazzarella who said, "I might have been the one who scored, but it took everyone to get today's results."  The Raiders were finally able to hang on as a team and gut out their first win of the season.  

Coach Leggerio was happy with his teams all around performance.  "It was a good team win, it took a blue collared effort when you only travel with 13 guys."  The Raiders are back in action tomorrow when they are on the road again against Niagara Community College.  Game time is set for 12:00 p.m.
