FMCC RAIDERS

Genesee Shuts Out FM

The FM Raiders faced their first road game of the season against a tough Genesee Community College team.  The #2 ranked Cougars put on an impressive display, shutting out the Raiders.  The final score was 18-0.

Coach Leggiero stated: "Genesee is a very good team.  We are rebuilding and we will use today's game as a measuring stick and next year when we face them we will see how much our program has grown."  The Raiders are moving forward from this game and as Senior Captain Jared Weissman said, "We are not happy with today's result, but we are still very motivated for the season.  We look forward not backwards and on to our next game."

FM's next contest will be Wednesday at home against Clinton Community College at 4 p.m.  Skyler Buyce is looking forward to a successful season with his teammates. "As disappointed as we are in today's result, today is only game three with Coach Leggiero.  The score might not reflect it, but we are getting better."
