FM Soccer Edged by North Country

FM Soccer Edged by North Country

The FM Raiders battled it out on their home field against North County Community College.  The Saints came into the game with just one win on the season and FM came out ready to play and hungry for a win.

The first half saw two even teams playing great soccer.  Both teams were playing solid defense and getting solid shots on goal, but none were reaching the back of the net.  The first half ended at 0-0.

In the second half the Raiders gave up a quick goal just three minutes into the half for the Saints to take a 1-0 lead.  FM regrouped and kept attacking the net, but the Saints managed to score two more goals to take a 3-0 lead.

The Raiders didn't give up and FM's Greyson Mullins was able to find the back of the net with about 16 minutes to play to cut the score to 3-1.  North Country was able to score another goal to end the game at 4-1.

The Raiders put on another solid showing and continue to improve.  FM is off until September 14th when they host the Hawks from Mohawk Valley Community College.  Game time is set for 4:00 p.m.
