The Vikings used a quick attack on the Raiders and scored two goals within the first twelve minutes. FM held their own and played tough defense the rest of the half.  The Raiders had their best chance to score at the 30 minute mark when Aiden VanLoan was able to find an open shot, but was not able to score.  The FM defense held the Vikings scoreless for the rest of the half.

In the second half, Hudson Valley was able to strike first again to go up 3-0.  FM scored a goal of their own off of a corner kick by Justin Marek.  Marek sailed the ball into the box where VanLoan was able to assist to Hugues Kouassi for the goal, and cut the deficit to 3-1.  The Vikings managed three more goals in the half.  Marek scored a goal of his own off of a penalty kick.  FM dropped the contest 6-2.

FM's next contest will be Saturday, September 10th when they host the Herkimer Generals at 1:00 p.m.
